LinkedIn's Year in Review is one of the most technically ambitious projects I've taken on as a producer. What started as a defined scope expanded quickly, pulling us into entirely new technical territory, new tooling, and the weight of a global launch that would reach millions of users. Navigating that gap between what we planned for and what the project actually demanded is where the real producing happened.

I led the project end-to-end, but the role was less about managing a plan and more about building the conditions for the team to succeed when the plan changed. When we hit unfamiliar ground with Rive and complex web QC workflows, I worked alongside the team to learn the tools, diagnose problems, and keep momentum moving. Technical fluency wasn't something I could delegate here. It was the thing that kept communication clear between the team, the client, and the work itself.

Protecting the team was a constant priority. High-pressure timelines can quietly erode the quality of thinking on a project, and a big part of my role was absorbing that pressure before it reached the people doing the creative and technical work. That meant making hard calls early, keeping scope conversations honest, and making sure late nights were the exception rather than the default.

The launch was a success. Millions of users engaged with the final experience, and the team walked away having genuinely grown through the process. For me, that's the marker of a well-produced project: not just that it shipped, but that the people who built it came out stronger.
